Overview
BrixSoft Technologies PVT LTD, doing business as Brixi.AI ("Company", "we", "our", or "us"), is committed to providing a reliable platform and transparent billing. This Refund Policy explains when refunds are available for subscriptions to Brixi.AI, how to request one, and how refunds are processed.
By subscribing to or purchasing any Brixi.AI plan, add-on, or service, you agree to the terms described below. This Refund Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
1. General Refund Principles
Brixi.AI is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) product billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. As a general rule, fees paid are non-refundable except as expressly stated in this policy or where a refund is required by applicable law.
- No partial refunds for unused time within an active billing cycle after the cooling-off period described below.
- No refunds for setup fees, professional services, custom development, or onboarding sessions that have already been delivered.
- No refunds for usage-based charges (for example, voice minutes, SMS/WhatsApp messages, API overages, or AI credits) that have already been consumed.
- Third-party costs (such as telephony, messaging, verification, or LLM provider fees) passed through to your account are non-refundable once incurred.
2. 7-Day Cooling-Off Period for New Paid Plans
If you are purchasing a paid Brixi.AI plan for the first time, you may request a full refund within seven (7) calendar days of your initial payment, provided that:
- The request is submitted by the account owner or an authorized admin.
- The account has not materially consumed usage-based resources (see Section 1 above).
- The account is not in violation of our Terms of Service at the time of the request.
The cooling-off period applies once per customer and does not apply to renewals, plan upgrades, add-on purchases, or repeat subscriptions following a prior cancellation.
3. Service Non-Delivery
If a prolonged, verified outage or defect attributable to Brixi.AI prevents you from using a material portion of the Service, you may be eligible for a refund or service credit covering the affected period. Eligibility is determined based on:
- Duration and scope of the incident as recorded in our system logs.
- Whether a support ticket was raised during the incident window.
- Any service level commitments applicable to your plan, if expressly agreed in writing.
Issues caused by third-party providers, incorrect configuration on the customer's side, or integrations outside Brixi.AI's control are not eligible for refunds under this section.
4. Cancellations and Renewals
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings or by contacting support. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle, and you will retain access to paid features until that date.
- Monthly plans: No refund is issued for the remainder of the active month after cancellation.
- Annual plans: No refund is issued for unused months after cancellation, except during the 7-day cooling-off period described in Section 2.
- Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically. It is your responsibility to cancel before the renewal date if you do not wish to continue. Refund requests based solely on a forgotten renewal will be considered on a case-by-case basis and are not guaranteed.
5. Downgrades and Plan Changes
When you downgrade a subscription, the change takes effect at the start of the next billing cycle. We do not refund or pro-rate the difference between the previous and the new plan for the remainder of the current cycle.
When you upgrade mid-cycle, the difference is charged on a pro-rated basis and is non-refundable.
6. Free Trials and Promotional Credits
Free trials, promotional credits, discount codes, and referral rewards have no cash value and are not refundable or transferable. If a paid plan begins immediately after a free trial, the 7-day cooling-off period in Section 2 still applies to the first payment on a first-time account.
7. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email support@brixi.ai from the email address registered on your Brixi.AI account with the following details:
- Registered account email and company name
- Invoice number or payment reference
- Plan or add-on the request relates to
- Date of the transaction
- Reason for the refund request
Our team will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and respond with a decision within 7 business days of receiving all required information.
8. Processing of Approved Refunds
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. Processing times depend on your bank or payment provider, and typically take 7–14 business days to reflect on your statement after approval.
- Refunds are made in the original currency of the transaction. Exchange rate differences and bank or gateway fees are not reimbursed.
- Applicable taxes (such as GST) already remitted to authorities may be deducted from the refund amount in line with tax regulations.
- Once a refund is issued, any associated account access, credits, and features will be revoked.
9. Chargebacks
We strongly encourage customers to contact us before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute — most issues can be resolved quickly through support. Filing a chargeback without first contacting us may result in the immediate suspension of your account pending investigation.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our products, pricing, or applicable law. The latest version will always be available on this page, and material changes will be communicated through our website or via email to account owners.
